At Rescue Dog Network, we believe adopt, don’t shop, not because ethical breeders don’t exist, but because they are the exception, not the rule. When you adopt through Rescue Dog Network, you’re welcoming a dog who has already been loved, vetted, vaccinated, sterilized (spayed/neutered), microchipped, and brought to the best health we can achieve. All adopters complete a background check, home check, and reference check, not to intimidate you, but to help us make the best possible match. We know incredible pet parents come from all lifestyles: apartments, full-time jobs, busy schedules. What matters to us is your commitment; regular walks, a plan for when you're out of town, consistent veterinary care, and the use of preventatives for heartworm, fleas, and ticks.
