When Lemon Drop was found wandering the streets of Overtown, she was battling Ehrlichia, anemia, and a severe flea allergy. She wasn't ready for a family—she needed someone to save her first.

A month of treatment, lots of love, and one gorgeous coat later, she's finally healthy.

Lemon Drop is believed to be a Border Collie × Flat-Coated Retriever mix with all the brains and enthusiasm that comes with it. She's under 30 pounds, adores children, loves other dogs, and if it moves... she's probably already chasing it.

• Astro is a gentle, affectionate senior husky whose biggest wish is simply to be loved. Despite everything he's endured, he still greets people with complete trust, quietly leaning into affection and soaking up every moment of kindness. His resilient spirit and sweet nature make him impossible not to fall in love with.

Story 

• Astro's life wasn't always filled with comfort. After his owner became seriously ill, he and his siblings slowly lost the home they once knew and spent years living outdoors without proper shelter, medical care, or comfort. Sleeping on concrete and simply surviving became his daily reality.

• When Rescue Dog Network learned about his condition, volunteers knew they couldn't leave him behind. Astro arrived needing immediate medical attention and has since been diagnosed with elevated liver enzymes, ear infections, intestinal parasites, and an abdominal mass that is still being evaluated. Despite it all, he has never stopped trusting people.

• He has already survived so much. Now he deserves the happy ending he's waited his entire life to find. ❤️
