Story: 💔

They were surrendered from a farm that no longer wanted them. They spent their lives outside in the Florida heat, without vaccinations or the medical care every dog deserves.

 

Neglected and overlooked, they never got the chance to simply be loved until now.

We took them in and got them spayed, vaccinated, examined by our veterinarian, had bloodwork completed, fecal testing, ear cleanings, and everything they needed to begin a healthier, happier life.

Despite everything they've been through, these sisters haven't let their past define them. They are incredibly sweet, gentle, playful, and full of love. They still greet people with wagging tails, hoping that the next person they meet will be the one who never leaves them behind again.

• Leo is a gentle, affectionate husky whose biggest dream is simply to belong to someone. Calm, submissive, and incredibly loving, he would much rather cuddle on the couch than be the center of attention. He adores people, loves sleeping beside his humans, and thrives when he's included as part of the family.

• Despite a difficult past, Leo has never lost his kind heart. He gets along well with other dogs, has a sweet, easygoing temperament, and is happiest when he's close to the people he loves.

• Astro is a gentle, affectionate senior husky whose biggest wish is simply to be loved. Despite everything he's endured, he still greets people with complete trust, quietly leaning into affection and soaking up every moment of kindness. His resilient spirit and sweet nature make him impossible not to fall in love with.

Story 

• Astro's life wasn't always filled with comfort. After his owner became seriously ill, he and his siblings slowly lost the home they once knew and spent years living outdoors without proper shelter, medical care, or comfort. Sleeping on concrete and simply surviving became his daily reality.

• When Rescue Dog Network learned about his condition, volunteers knew they couldn't leave him behind. Astro arrived needing immediate medical attention and has since been diagnosed with elevated liver enzymes, ear infections, intestinal parasites, and an abdominal mass that is still being evaluated. Despite it all, he has never stopped trusting people.

• He has already survived so much. Now he deserves the happy ending he's waited his entire life to find. ❤️
