Her Story: 

At the shelter, she was known as Meryl but we decided this sweet girl deserved a new name for her new beginning.

 

The stress of the shelter was taking a toll on her, including stress-induced colitis, and we knew she needed out. Since joining her foster home in Parkland, FL, Mikah is thriving. 

 

We believe she’s a senior girl, around 8–9 years old, and she’s basically looking for the good life: lounging, treats, dog friends and hanging out with her people.

• Astro is a gentle, affectionate senior husky whose biggest wish is simply to be loved. Despite everything he's endured, he still greets people with complete trust, quietly leaning into affection and soaking up every moment of kindness. His resilient spirit and sweet nature make him impossible not to fall in love with.

Story 

• Astro's life wasn't always filled with comfort. After his owner became seriously ill, he and his siblings slowly lost the home they once knew and spent years living outdoors without proper shelter, medical care, or comfort. Sleeping on concrete and simply surviving became his daily reality.

• When Rescue Dog Network learned about his condition, volunteers knew they couldn't leave him behind. Astro arrived needing immediate medical attention and has since been diagnosed with elevated liver enzymes, ear infections, intestinal parasites, and an abdominal mass that is still being evaluated. Despite it all, he has never stopped trusting people.

• He has already survived so much. Now he deserves the happy ending he's waited his entire life to find. ❤️

Story: 

Toby had minutes left to live at Miami-Dade Animal Services when we stepped in and we are SO glad we did. This little dude is pure muscle and ALL smiles.  He loves people of all ages and loves playing with other dogs. He can be a little dominant and mouthy during play, so a dog around his size with a compatible play style would probably be his best match. Currently fostered with one of our trainers, so he’s getting quite the education! Toby is sweet, happy, playful and SO deserving of the life he almost didn’t get the chance to have.

Despite needing major hip surgery, he hasn't let it dampen his spirit and continues to greet life with optimism and affection. Rescued from the euthanasia list, Ken is now safe and looking forward to healing in a loving home where he can finally enjoy the second chance he deserves.

About Aspen:

Aspen was found as a stray in Boynton Beach with an HDMI cord wrapped tightly around her neck and wood chips embedded in her head. We rushed her straight to the vet and poured a whole lot of medical care, money, attention, and LOVE into showing her that life can be so much better.

 

And now she’s ready for her forever home. 

 

Aspen is sweet, gentle and a little shy; she’ll run up to you with her body low and tail wagging… then surprise you with her BIG girl bark.  She absolutely loves other dogs and people of all ages. After everything this girl has been through, she deserves the easiest next chapter: a family of her own.
